Our Commitment to Sustainability

Integrating environmental, social, and governance practices to promote sustainable and responsible agribusiness.

Commitment to Innovation

With sustainability as a core business principle, our actions are guided by the ESG concept (Environmental, Social, and Governance) – far more than just an acronym. It represents a strategic, multi-stakeholder vision for long-term value creation aligned with positive and transformative socio-environmental impact.

Baldan has its own ESG agenda, offering diverse projects across these three areas. In Governance, the company operates with an ethical code of conduct, an independent whistleblowing channel, and a commitment to organizational excellence – confirmed by our GPTW certification.

Baldan Culture Hub: Programming and Digital Culture Course

Our goal is to empower youth aged 16-24 through meaningful personal and professional development, preparing them for a prosperous future.
This 12-month program offers a comprehensive IT course with a special focus on system programming and digital culture.

We believe technological literacy is essential for success in today’s world, which is why we’re committed to providing participants with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the job market.

Educa Judo

Baldan sponsors the Educa Judo project, using this martial art as an educational tool to transform the lives of children aged 4-12 enrolled in public schools. Seventy spots were offered (applications closed June 1), with classes held Tuesdays and Thursdays at Matão’s Décimo Chiozzini Sports Gymnasium (5:30-6:30 PM and 6:30-7:30 PM).

All participants received free judo uniforms and backpacks. Fernanda Belissimo, Coordinator of People, Management, and Sustainability, explains: “Educa Judo follows Brazil’s Fiscal Incentive Law – we allocate part of our income tax to social projects. We partner with an Incentive Hub to identify initiatives aligned with our ESG purpose.”
